Meet The Owner Vicky
My career in wellness began in Thailand, where massage is not a luxury but a part of everyday life and healing. I spent years there refining traditional Thai technique, and in that time I noticed the same thing happen again and again. Clients would leave feeling wonderful, then return two weeks later with exactly the same pain. It taught me an important lesson: relaxation and relief are two very different things. Feeling good for an afternoon is not the same as fixing what is actually wrong.
I wanted to do more than ease tension for a day. So I came to Australia, completed a Master of Tourism and Hospitality, and then went back to study Remedial Therapy so I could treat the root cause of pain, not just its symptoms. THEVA is what that decision became: traditional Thai skill and modern clinical precision, brought together by one therapist who genuinely cares about the outcome.
Our Qualification's
I believe you should know exactly who is treating your body, so here is my background in full.
MAA Qualified Remedial Therapist. I am a qualified Remedial Therapist accredited through MAA, which means my training meets a nationally recognised professional standard. Remedial therapy is clinical work: I assess where dysfunction sits in the body and treat it directly, rather than simply working over the surface. It is also why treatments at THEVA are Health Fund registered and claimable with participating funds.
Master of Tourism and Hospitality. Before I qualified in remedial therapy, I completed a Master of Tourism and Hospitality. It shaped the other half of what THEVA is. Skilled hands matter, but so does how you are cared for from the moment you walk in. My hospitality training is why every detail of your visit, the space, the pacing, the attention, is considered and unhurried.
10 years of hands-on experience. More than a decade treating and understanding the needs of our customers. Experience is what lets me read the language of the human body and directs me exactly where the pain points of each clients are.
Together, these three things are the reason THEVA feels different: the clinical skill to actually fix what hurts, the hospitality to make it a genuine experience, and the years of practice to do both well.
My Approach
Every session at THEVA is fully customised and always with me. I do not use templates or set routines, and there are no rotating staff to re-explain your body to each visit. I combine the dynamic, assisted stretching of Traditional Thai Massage with the clinical precision of Remedial Therapy, and I build each treatment around what your body presents on the day. Whether you carry desk-related tension, an old injury that never settled, or simply need to switch off completely, the session is shaped to you.
